SedCatch Dewatering Tube
A SedCatch® Dewatering Tube™ an be easily emptied so it can be reused. Both ends of the tube are open. Lift the center to dump the accumulated sediment. Patent D620,548.
Insert the discharge pipe a minimum of 5ft inside the tube and secure with a rope (included) wrapped 6 times. IMPORTANT To close the open end, overlap the tube 2ft from the end. Gather the center of the doubled-up portion forming a bow tie. Secure with a rope (included) wrapped multiple times.
SedCatch Dewatering Bag
All of our dewatering bags are made with a snout to make the connection with the discharge hose easier and more secure. A length of rope is included with each bag.

Standard Drawings, Specifications & Geotextile Properties
We have selected the geotextile with the properties that give the best results under most circumstances. If your site is unique and/or if the engineer or inspector has a preference for a different geotextile specification, we can manufacture the sediment basket with the requested fabric. We probably have the geotextile in stock and can accommodate your request with a two week lead time.
